Head Chef | The Gibson

Are you ready to play? Join our team as Head Chef at The Gibson, opening soon in Stafford.   

The Head Chef reports to and works closely with the Venue Manager, and is responsible for leading the culinary team, collaboration on menu design and overseeing the production of all food items ensuring quality. 

This is a fantastic opportunity where you can put your previous experience to the test, whilst being a part of a brand new operational team.  

A few of your responsibilities will include: 

• Lead and develop your culinary team and ensure readiness for opening including recruitment of your team 
• Menu design and development, with ongoing input to ensure we are meeting guest expectations 
• Control food production and quality whilst also ensuring meeting of budgets and minimising wastage 
• Provide training for new team members and provide ongoing education to the team on the menu 

What we are looking for: 

• Several years of post trade experience, ideally within a club or pub environment 
• Experience in a Head Chef or Culinary leadership role 
• Food Safety Supervisors certificate (HACCP)  
• Current First Aid certificate  
• Relevant Trade certificate

You will bring a wealth of knowledge and skills from having worked in restaurants; clubs or similar environments with a true passion for customer experience. You will hold yourself and team to high standards ensuring The Gibson kitchen is well maintained and ready for service.
