Role Overview
We are seeking F&B Attendants to deliver outstanding customer service and hospitality while ensuring efficient operation of our food and beverage functions. The F&B attendant plays a key role in providing a positive guest experience through prompt and courteous service, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards and contributing to the overall success of the Brisbane Racing Club’s hospitality services.
Our F&B Attendants will be working across our functions and event spaces and will have a variety of duties that may differ upon rostered shifts.
This role will support our major race days on Saturday 12 October, 19 October, 26 October, 2 November and finishing up the racing season on Tuesday 5 November for Melbourne Cup Day. We are looking for availability across these days and there may be an opportunity to support regular season races throughout the year.
Key Responsibilities
- Take orders and serve food and beverages promptly, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
- Efficiently manage and relay orders to the kitchen or bar, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of food and beverages.
- Ensure tables are set up and cleaned according to the Brisbane Racing Club’s standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring guest satisfaction and resolving any issues promptly.
- Adhere to RSA and health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient service and a positive guest experience.
Qualifications
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role within the Hospitality industry; Restaurant or Events experience preferred.
- Barista experience considered an asset.
- Proven experience in delivering exceptional customer service.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to follow directions.
- Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Candidates must have the legal right to work in Australia without requiring sponsorship.
