The Duty Manager reports to our Venue Manager and is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of the Club, including roster scheduling, leadership of the team and most important, ensuring we provide an exceptional member and guest experience.
This is an exciting opportunity to join an established team and continue contributing to the success of the Club.
A few of your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and supervising a team across multiple departments including café, bistro, bar and gaming ensuring service standards are maintained at a high level
- Onboarding, training, and ongoing development of team members
- Assist with rostering and sourcing replacement team members as required and directed by the Venue Manager
- Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines
What we are looking for:
- Possession of Responsible Manager of Licensed Venue (RMLV), Queensland RSA & RSG
- Outstanding interpersonal and organisational skills
- Competent computer skills and experience in rostering for a hospitality venue
- Ability to work across both day and night shifts, including weekends and public holidays is essential
- Leadership experience and ability to lead from the front and be hands on if required

You will also have experience ensuring compliance across our club and recommend opportunities to improve our current practices. Your drive to deliver a consistent high level of customer experience will be the key to your success and overall success of our venue.

Gallopers Sports Club operates 7 days a week from 10am to 12am. Whether you are getting out and about, celebrating or catching up with family and friends, Gallopers Sports Club has multiple entertainment areas to cater for the occasion. Home to our bowls greens, we offer bare foot bowls to spice up your event or function!
