Brisbane Racing Club (BRC) is seeking an experienced Head of Facilities Management to lead the strategic management of our facilities, assets, and capital works across our iconic racing and hospitality venues.

Operating across Eagle Farm and Doomben, BRC hosts some of Queensland’s premier racing and entertainment events alongside vibrant hospitality and licensed club operations.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Executive General Manager – Property, this leadership role is responsible for modernising how BRC manages its physical assets and facilities operations across multiple sites.

You will lead the implementation of a centralised asset management system, oversee capital projects, optimise facilities processes, and ensure our venues operate safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation of an asset management system across BRC properties.
  • Establish asset lifecycle planning and preventative maintenance programs.
  • Oversee capital works and infrastructure projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
  • Manage vendor and contractor performance across maintenance and facilities services.
  • Drive operational improvements and best-practice facilities processes.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing facilities team.
  • Partner with venue leaders to deliver effective facilities support across all sites.

 

About You

You are a strategic facilities or property professional with experience managing multi-site operations, capital works and asset management programs.

You will bring:

  • A degree in Engineering, Facilities/Asset Management, Construction, Project Management or similar
  • Experience implementing asset management systems
  • Strong background in capital project planning and delivery
  • Proven vendor and contract management experience
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Sound knowledge of WHS and regulatory compliance

Experience in hospitality, licensed venues or large public venues will be highly regarded.
