About the Role

 

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef De Partie to join our team within a dynamic licensed club environment. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high quality food that enhances the overall guest experience, while supporting the smooth operation of a fast-paced kitchen. You will bring creativity, consistency, and a strong focus on quality to every plate, contributing to a welcoming and vibrant dining offering for our members and guests.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Preparing and cooking meals in line with menu specifications, ensuring exceptional presentation and quality
  • Maintaining consistency through adherence to recipes, portion control, and food cost management
  • Assisting in the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring efficient and timely service
  • Supporting, mentoring, and guiding junior kitchen staff as required
  • Ensuring compliance with all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment
  • Monitoring food quality and presentation, and addressing any issues promptly
  • Contributing to menu development, including seasonal specials and innovation
  • Catering to dietary requirements and preferences where needed
  • Managing stock levels, ordering supplies, and maintaining proper stock rotation (FIFO)
  • Minimising waste and ensuring cost-effective kitchen practices
  • Staying up to date with culinary trends and continuously improving the dining experience

 

What We’re Looking For

 

  • Proven experience as a Chef in a high-volume kitchen, restaurant, or licensed venue
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety regulations, and hygiene practices
  • A keen eye for detail in food preparation, presentation, and quality control
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive and positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt
  • Food safety and hygiene certification (preferred)
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
