About the Role

We’re looking for a trade-qualified Plumber to join our Facilities & Gardens team. You’ll handle maintenance, repairs, and installations across our iconic Eagle Farm and Doomben racecourses – from day-to-day operations to high-profile race day events.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Maintaining and repairing plumbing systems – including pipes, drainage, water heaters & fixtures
• Troubleshooting urgent issues, especially during events
• Installing new plumbing systems and supporting infrastructure upgrades
• Keeping work safe, clean and compliant with all current plumbing legislation
• Collaborating with internal teams and external contractors
• Supporting event operations with temporary plumbing setups when required

What You’ll Need

• Relevant trade qualifications and current plumbing license
• Strong hands-on experience in general plumbing maintenance
• Solid understanding of plumbing regulations and OH&S practices
• Great problem-solving skills, and ability to work under pressure
• Good communication skills – you’ll be working with other departments and contractors
• Flexibility to work some weekends, public holidays and event days when needed

• Experience in racing, hospitality or events is a bonus – but not essential.
