  • Ensuring compliance with liquor licensing, gaming legislation, workplace health and safety requirements, and Club policies.
  • Coordinating events and functions during your shift to ensure every detail runs smoothly.
  • Monitoring cash handling, reconciliations and point-of-sale operations with accuracy and integrity.
  • Supporting marketing initiatives and promotions that enhance the member and guest experience.
  • Leading by example and fostering a positive, collaborative team culture.

What We're Looking For

You'll be a confident and approachable hospitality leader who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and brings a genuine passion for people and service.

You'll also bring:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or Duty Manager position within hospitality, clubs or a licensed venue.
  • Current Responsible Management of Licensed Venues (RMLV) and Responsible Service of Gambling (RSG) qualifications.
  • Strong understanding of liquor licensing, gaming compliance and workplace health and safety requirements.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach and develop team members.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
  • Proven ability to remain calm under pressure, make sound decisions and resolve conflict effectively.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems.
  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays to support racing and event operations.

Most importantly, you'll share our values of Professionalism, Community, Safety & Wellbeing, Challenge & Innovation, Pride, and Responsibility, bringing them to life through every interaction.

At Brisbane Racing Club, you'll become part of an organisation rich in history and focused on an exciting future.

In return, you'll enjoy:

  • The opportunity to work at one of Queensland's most iconic racing and events venues.
  • A supportive, collaborative and values-driven team culture.
  • Opportunities for professional development and career progression.
